FROM THE beginning
The Polaris Pointe was built in 1990 by Adnan Khashoggi, offering a history just as rich as its architecture. Mr. Khashoggi was a billionaire and an arms dealer involved in the Iran Contra scandal of the late '80's. He was later implicated as a key middleman in the arms for hostages deal that implicated the Reagan administration at the end of his second term. Khashoggi purchased the home we own today as one of his "safe houses" prior to being indicted by The Saudi and United States governments in 1989. The architecture of this villa is extraordinary. The Polaris Pointe is an authentic Caribbean villa with high ceilings throughout, mahogany beams and Dominican marble throughout the property.
The Pointe is 12,350 square feet of living space and offers the most spectacular views in the Caribbean from 650 feet above sea level. On a clear day, you can see the islands St Thomas and St John, even as far away as Spanish Town and Virgin Gorda. On a very clear day you can actually see the curvature of the earth from our belvedere.
We are partnered with The Buccaneer Hotel of St Croix - allowing our clientele to have access to their beaches, tennis courts and golf course al.
